All About Mediation Training

Course Title: Workplace Mediation Training – 24 Hrs

This course familiarizes mediators with the statutes relating to employment law and how to work knowledgeably with these statutes without veering into “unauthorized practice of law” and other breaches of mediator ethics. The curriculum includes:

• Civil Rights in the workplace (EEO statutes)
• Personal Injury in the workplace
• The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• The Family and Medical Leave Act
• The 10 Most Common Sources of Conflict in the Workplace
• Tips on mediating multi-party conflicts in the workplace
• 8 hours of role play and practicum
